What people understand as ordinary life is a day you live distracted, believing there was no Message for you to get in what you saw and heard. So how can "christians" who believe that the daily Bread is the material food, who don't believe in forsaking the illusion of all "things" to desire and seek one Thing, ever find the Way to transcend "life"?
The event of interconnected computers gave us an amazing tool to travel on this Road without even having to leave our homes and go searching for experiences out there. Fools call "real life" what is lived when you're not staring at a screen, but that's not true, because you may still be seeking after lies and unable to receive the Message. You see? Just like there is power and light going on in a screen, becoming a son or daughter is a matter of looking for Power and Light all the time and everywhere. You're not really believing on the name of Jesus when you're not looking for Her wholeheartedly. So, if you can't find any Thing that those living and dying oblivious can't either, that verse tells exactly why.
In the past, you had to drive to a store in order to buy what you needed; now you have a much wider variety of the same object you're looking for in digital malls. But still you can't find Love anywhere in the system.
I guess we must get into El Rey to see the Light.
